NICHOLAS MCILHARGERY

Nicholas has extensive litigation experience with a broad scope of practice. His primary focus areas include commercial litigation, construction claims including builders' liens, personal injury matters, acting as independent counsel for insured parties, and insurance defence including coverage opinions and professional negligence.

Prior to joining WBA, Nicholas worked for a boutique litigation firm. He has appeared before the Alberta Court of Justice, the Court of King’s Bench, and the Federal Court of Canada. Nicholas is a passionate advocate and enjoys assisting clients with all steps in litigation including trial, arbitration and private dispute resolution processes.

Outside of his professional life, Nicholas serves on the board of Resicare Society of Calgary. Resicare provides residential outreach support services in the community for those with disabilities. He can also be found in the mountains during his free time, skiing and hiking, or traveling abroad.
