Dilkarn practices in all areas of business, tax and transactional law. Dilkarn maintains a general solicitor practice, ranging from assisting and advising new home buyers to purchase their first home to minimizing risk for a client’s business venture. From assisting with financing and tax planning to drafting tailored instruments to effectively establish the preferred form of business structure, partnership or joint venture, Dilkarn is determined to provide value to his client’s business.

Dilkarn is also advancing his knowledge in tax law, having successfully completed the Orientation and Research and Group Study 1 modules of the Chartered Professional Accountants Canada In-Depth Tax Program.

Prior to joining our team, Dilkarn earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Alberta, where he was actively engaged in assisting self-represented litigants navigate the legal system through organizations such as Student Legal Services and Pro Bono Students Canada. As a volunteer for Legal Aid, Dilkarn conducted tailored educational presentations on a wide range of legal topics.

After law school, Dilkarn articled and then stayed on as an associate at a boutique firm in Calgary where he assisted clients with corporate and transactional matters, including tax planning and tax-efficient transactions.

Outside of his legal practice, Dilkarn can be found playing hockey, trying a new craft beer or planning his next adventure. Dilkarn’s favourite places (so far) are London (England), Croatia, Italy, Singapore, Rajasthan (India) and Boston (USA).
